James Bennett

James Bennett is a highly experienced professional in the field of biomedical engineering and machine learning operations. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer for Machine Learning Operations at Precision Neuroscience since September 2025, James previously held the position of Principal Neural Engineer at Synchron from July 2020 to September 2025, where roles also included Neural Engineer and Signal Processing Intern. Academic experience includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, along with a Master of Engineering (Biomedical) and a Bachelor of Biomedicine, Bioengineering Systems from the same institution. Additional roles include Workshop Demonstrator at the University of Melbourne and Tutor at Ormond College. James was also a Modeller for the University of Melbourne iGEM Team and briefly studied abroad at Sophia University.
