Senior Mechanical Engineer at Precision

Morgan LaMarca has had a diverse work experience. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Lead Surgical Technician and Principal Investigator at Neuralink. From 2021 to 2022, they were a Masters Student in the MEng program at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Product Design. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they performed in vivo gastrointestinal surgical procedures on animal models, constructed hypothesis and independent research projects, and was certified as an x-ray technician. Morgan also achieved significant accomplishments, such as being the 2nd author on their first research paper publication and winning a 2nd place poster presentation at the College of Engineering. From 2013 to 2015, they were a board member of the Georgia Tech Pre-Health Living Learning Community.

Morgan LaMarca has a diverse educational background. Morgan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2013 and 2017. In 2021, they acquired certifications in Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python) and Python Data Structures from Coursera. In 2015, they obtained a Certified Radiation Worker certification from the Office of Radiological Safety at Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Engineering - MEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, in April 2022, they obtained a Group 1 Biomedical Research Investigators certification from the CITI Program.
