Macon Hodges

Macon Hodges is currently the Equipment Manager at PRECON MARINE, INC. Prior to this, they worked as a Field Service Supervisor at Carter Machinery from May 2014 to July 2016. In this role, they managed the day-to-day operations of the field service division for Caterpillar heavy construction equipment in the Chesapeake/Tidewater area. Macon also supervised field technicians and supported customers with their immediate service and repair needs.

Before Carter Machinery, Hodges worked as a firefighter at Suffolk Fire & Rescue from January 2010 to December 2011. Macon completed the Southside Regional Fire Academy and earned additional certificates in EMS/ Lifesafety/Technical Rescue curriculums during this time.

Hodges also has experience as an Equipment Superintendent, which they did at SKW Constructors- Skanska, Kiewit, Weeks J/V from March 2013 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all construction equipment on site and ensuring that it was being used properly and safely.

Lastly, Hodges worked as a Foundation Construction Equipment Technician at Geoquip Foundation Construction Equipment from January 2011 to February 2013. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining and repairing foundation construction equipment.

Macon Hodges has a wealth of experience in different roles involving construction equipment. Macon is currently using their expertise to manage the equipment at PRECON MARINE, INC.

Macon Hodges is an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Thomas Nelson Community College in Mechanical Engineering. Macon also has an Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Thomas Nelson Community College.

Macon Hodges reports to Matthew Miller, Owner, President & CEO. Macon Hodges works with Doug Fuller - EVP, Derek Miller - Hydrography Survey Manager, and Peter Gibbs - Operations Manager.
