Amr ElAlfy

Strategy & Commercial Head at Predictiva

Amr ElAlfy has extensive work experience in academia and business. Amr is currently an Assistant Professor at Qatar University, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Waterloo starting in September 2018.

In 2017, Amr co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Synergy Sustainability & Development Group. Amr held this role until joining Qatar University.

Earlier in their career, Amr worked as the Strategy & Commercial Head at Predictiva from January 2021. Amr was a Graduate Research Assistant at Saint Mary's University from October 2013 to March 2014.

Amr's early professional experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at The German University in Cairo from August 2005 to September 2007.

Amr ElAlfy started their education journey in 2001 at Ain Shams University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Commerce. Amr successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2005. Afterwards, they joined Saint Mary's University in 2013 to pursue a Master's Degree in International Development Studies. Amr completed their postgraduate studies in 2015. Building on their academic achievements, Amr enrolled at the University of Waterloo in 2016 to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy-PhD in Sustainability Management. Their doctoral studies concluded in 2020, completing their education history.
