Julija Podbevšek has been working in the field since 2012. Julija began their career at the University of Primorska, where they worked on the PANGeA - Bed Rest Studies (Simulated Weightlessness) project. Julija then moved to the University of Ljubljana to work on the Predictors of Keyes' model of mental health in the elderly project. In 2017, they began working for the National Institute of Public Health as a biopsychologist. In 2019, they took on the role of Project Manager at UMNI, Zavod za ustvarjalne rešitve s pomočjo mnenj / UMNI Institute. In 2021, they began working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the EU and the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Republic of Slovenia as an Administrative attaché. Finally, in 2022, they began working as an HR Manager for PredictLeads, a company that focuses on finding actionable company signals that are indicative of company performance.
Julija Podbevšek's education history includes a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Ljubljana, a one-year exchange program in Cognitive Science at the University of Vienna, a Bachelor's degree in Biopsychology from UP FAMNIT - Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, and primary and secondary schooling at Gimnazija Celje-Center and Osnovna šola Primoža Trubarja Laško, respectively.
