Franciszek Rakowski

Franciszek Rakowski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence, epidemiology, and data science. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Simmundi and Project Leader at ICM University of Warsaw, Franciszek leads the ICM UW Epidemiological Model. Additional roles include Head of the Artificial Intelligence Team at ICsec S.A. and member of the Advisory Board for the Ministry of Health in Poland, focusing on COVID-19 analysis and forecasting. Previous positions encompass significant contributions to Samsung Electronics as Principal Data Scientist and various academic roles at ICM Warsaw University, complemented by a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Warsaw University of Technology. Notable recognitions include being a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Washington and participation in the Polish Prime Minister's COVID-19 Advisory Board.
