Christian Jürgensen

Christian Jürgensen is a seasoned professional in forestry and nature management, currently serving as a Senior Biomass Auditor at Preferred by Nature since February 2022. Previously, Jürgensen held positions as a Political Consultant at Dansk Skovforening, Project Manager at Save the Orangutan, and Consultant at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). Additional experience includes roles as a Forestry Consultant at FAO, Project Coordinator at Miljøministeriet, and Project Coordinator/Analyst at the Danish Meteorological Institute. Jürgensen began the career with an internship at the European Forest Institute and a student internship at DLH Group. Educated at Den Kgl. Veterinær- og Landbohøjskole, Jürgensen earned a Master’s degree in Forestry and Nature Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Natural Resource Management.
