Hernan Zaldívar Schrader is an experienced professional with a diverse background in ecosystem restoration, environmental management, and market development. Currently serving as an Ecosystem Restoration Specialist at Preferred by Nature since March 2022, Hernan leads the development of the organization's Ecosystem Restoration Programme and engages in training and capacity building initiatives. Additionally, Hernan is a part-time teacher in the Environmental Science faculty at Universidad Científica del Sur. Prior roles include positions as Climate Smart Agriculture Coordinator at Solidaridad Network and Market Development Manager at Forest Stewardship Council International, where Hernan focused on the productive chains of FSC smallholders in Latin America.
