Porter Friedman is an accomplished Agricultural Program Manager with extensive experience in certification management within the agricultural sector. Since October 2018, Porter has overseen the development of agricultural certification offerings at NEPCon for the United States and Canada, working with programs such as the Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil and Rainforest Alliance. Prior to this role, Porter held multiple positions at Rainforest Alliance from April 2010 to October 2018, including the creation and oversight of farm and Chain of Custody certification programs, managing a diverse portfolio of certified clients, and maintaining vital Salesforce databases. Additionally, Porter contributed to research on growth trends in the Rockies region as a Project Researcher for the Colorado College State of the Rockies Project, culminating in a peer-reviewed publication. Porter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Colorado College.
