Katie Meyer

Katie Meyer possesses extensive experience in educational support and counseling. Currently serving as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Missouri - St. Louis and as a Community Support Specialist at Preferred Family Healthcare since August 2016, Katie has a strong background in college advising, demonstrated through the role at Missouri College Advising Corps from July 2014 to July 2016. In this position, Katie conducted over 75 workshops, assisted in securing significant scholarship funds for students, and guided numerous high school students through the college application process. Previous experiences include a Peer Advisor role at the MU Office of Financial Aid and an internship at Frederick Douglass High School. Academically, Katie holds a Master of Education in Secondary School Counseling and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
