Katy Gettinger has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on sales and account management. Katy began their career as a Sales Manager at Westin Hotels & Resorts in 1995 and then moved on to become a Sales Manager at Boca Raton Resort & Club in 1997. In 1999, they joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as an Account Director, where they worked on the pre-opening sales team for a convention resort and managed corporate groups in the West Coast and Mid-Atlantic regions. In 2001, they joined Marriott International as a Senior Account Executive, where they managed the hotel's Northeast Group and was recognized for surpassing revenue goals. Katy then joined St. Regis Resort in 2004 as the Director of Sales, where they led the pre-opening sales team and managed the group sales vertical market. In 2008, they returned to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. as a Global Account Director, where they facilitated and maintained profitable global strategic relationships with Insurance & Financial customers. Finally, in 2017, they joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts as the Vice President of Sales. Throughout their career, Katy has demonstrated success in exceeding revenue goals and implementing effective sales strategies.

Katy Gettinger pursued their education at the University of Florida from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing.
