Matt Carpenter

Matt Carpenter has worked in the IT field since 2005. Matt began their career as the Owner/Sr. Engineer at Digital Nexus Solutions, where they implemented HP thin client desktops and administered Windows SBS2003 server. In 2006, they transitioned to Lutheran Health Network as a Network Analyst, providing LAN/WAN Network Support and Nortel Contivity VPN support. In 2011, they joined Preferred IT as a Systems Engineer. Later that same year, they began working for Preferred IT Group, LLC as the Director of Operations. In this role, they managed all Service Desk activities, promoted and enforced customer service standards, and executed ITIL components.

Matt Carpenter has a diverse educational background. Matt attended Rochester high school from 1999 to 2003. Matt then attended ITT Technical Institute-Fort Wayne, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator in 2005. Matt continued their education at ITT Technical Institute-Fort Wayne and obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance in 2007. Additionally, Matt Carpenter has obtained various certifications, including VMware Academic Specialization 1.0, Aruba Certified 802.11ac Specialist, Aruba Certified ClearPass Sales Specialist, Aruba Certified Sales Specialist, Aruba Certified WLAN Quickstart Sales Specialist, Personal Trainer, Datto Technical Specialist II, HDI Customer Service Representative, IBM Midrange Storage, IBM v7000 Storage, Sonicwall CSSA, Sonicwall Global Management System, Sonicwall Master CSSA, and VCP.
