Alan Abraham

Alan Abraham is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in clinical trial administration and research. Currently serving as the Director of Clinical Trial Administration at the University of Pittsburgh since February 2022, Alan also holds the position of Director of Clinical Research at Preferred Primary Care Physicians since January 2018. Prior to these roles, Alan worked at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as an Artificial Heart/Medical Device Specialist from November 1990 to September 2021, and as the Director of Clinical Research Administration at NSABP Foundation Inc. from August 2016 to October 2017. Alan's background also includes a tenure at the University of Pittsburgh as the Critical Care Research Program Director from October 2003 to September 2016. Alan’s educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Carlow University, a Bachelor's Degree in Writing/Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, and certifications in Contract Law from Harvard University and Extracorporeal Technology from the University of Pittsburgh.
