Cathy Alwell

Cathy Alwell is the President and CEO of Preferred Resources. Cathy enjoys fostering a privately held, family oriented company, while promoting the mission of providing quality Executive Search, Staff Augmentation and Contingency staffing services to the St. Louis area and beyond. In 2020, she was proud to obtain certification as a Woman Owned Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Cathy earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (emphasis in Special Education) from University of MO, St. Louis, and a master’s degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University. If you catch her on the weekends, she will probably be visiting with friends and family, watching one of her sons’ baseball games or traveling!
