Rick Gamarra is an experienced CAD designer with a career spanning over two decades in the automotive industry. Currently employed at Prefix Companies since November 2007, Rick specializes in designing fiberglass molds, automotive models, and prototype lighting mock-ups, while also leading significant projects such as the Dodge Viper ACR Race Car Build Program and the EM-50 Dodge Viper Paint Stripe Program. Prior to this role, Rick worked at General Motors from January 2000 to August 2005 as a Class A surfacing designer, where responsibilities included creating high-quality Class A surfaces from raw data scans for automotive production components. Rick started their career at Gilbar Engineering as a draftsman and computer designer from December 1991 to January 2000. Educational qualifications include a vocational diploma in autobody repair from New Haven High School and diplomas in descriptive geometry and layout courses from HL Bosca School of Automotive Design and Drafting.
