Cheryl Groat Pena

Cheryl Groat Pena possesses extensive experience in accounting and finance, currently serving as Assistant Controller at Pregis since October 2012. Prior to this role, Cheryl held various positions at Sara Lee, including Senior Manager of International Accounting & Special Projects, where responsibilities involved research and implementation of derivative reporting compliance under ASC 815, as well as overseeing special projects related to acquisitions and software systems. Earlier in the career, Cheryl managed special projects at Tupperware Brands, addressed significant reporting discrepancies, and conducted internal audits at Tupperware Corporation. Cheryl began the professional journey as a Senior Accountant at Hochfelder & Weber and a Staff Accountant at Parker & Meltzer, after earning an MST in Taxation from DePaul University and a BS in Accountancy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
