Matt Niemiec

Matt Niemiec is the current Controller at Prellis Biologics. Prior to joining Prellis Biologics, Matt Niemiec served as the Director of Financial Operations at RG Alliance Group from February 2015 to September 2020. At RG Alliance Group, Matt Niemiec was responsible for assisting clients in streamlining accounting processes in order to make sure data was entered accurately and timely. Matt Niemiec reconciled accounts monthly and produced a comprehensive financial packet every month that included key financial metrics and financials statements. The monthly reconciliations and closes allowed year-end to be no different than any other month for finalizing the books for taxes and mitigating year-over-year discrepancies.

Prior to joining RG Alliance Group, Matt Niemiec served as the Accounting Manager at TGG Accounting from October 2010 to February 2015. At TGG Accounting, Matt Niemiec was responsible for saving both accounting and administrative costs by delivering timely, accurate, easy-to-understand financial information to business owners while the business owner focused on their business.

Matt Niemiec has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting from San Diego State University. Matt is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant from the California Board of Accountancy.

They are on a team with Andrew Carolan - Operations Manager, Erin Stephens - VP of Tissue Engineering & Antibody Discovery, and Chinmayi Mishra - Senior Research Associate. Matt Niemiec reports to Melanie Matheu, Founder & CEO.
