Ryan Holmes

Ryan Holmes is an accomplished organic chemist with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as Associate Director at Prelude Therapeutics since June 2020, Ryan has held progressive roles including Sr. Research Scientist and Research Scientist. Prior experience includes a Graduate Student position at Yale University from June 2015 to May 2020, where Ryan focused on the enantioselective synthesis of Gukulenin tetraterpenoids, along with a brief Graduate Student Internship at Glaxo Smith Kline. Ryan's early research includes an Undergraduate Student Internship at UMass Medical School, contributing to the development of methods for studying transcriptional regulation and DNA replication. Ryan earned a Ph.D. and an MS from Yale University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
