Vera Broek

Vera Broek has extensive experience in both educational and healthcare contexts, currently serving as a Junior Teacher and Student Assistant at Leiden University Medical Center since September 2018, focusing on microscopy, histology, and organ systems for students in Biomedical Sciences and Medicine. Additionally, Vera is a student panel member at NVAO, representing student interests in higher education accreditation, and a patient representative in an ongoing study at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen related to Lyme disease. Vera contributes to music as a viola player with OTRA, a semi-professional tango orchestra, and holds editorial roles as Editor-in-Chief of the magazine Predoctor and Editor for eLearning modules at Prelum. Educationally, Vera holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music from Codarts Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Leiden University.
