Jorge Hernandez

Jorge Hernandez is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and solution architecture. Currently serving as a Sr. Manager Solution Architecture at Premera Blue Cross since May 2023, Jorge previously held various positions at Microsoft from April 2014 to May 2023, including Senior Software Engineering Manager, where responsibilities involved developing strategic roadmaps and enhancing digital transformation efforts. Prior to Microsoft, Jorge worked at Nokia in multiple roles, such as MES Product Owner and IT Release Manager, contributing to successful projects like the 100M Challenge that optimized manufacturing processes. Earlier in the career, Jorge served as IT Manager at Perlos, overseeing factory IT infrastructure, and began career as a Test Development Engineer at Nokia Test Engineering. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Science Engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas.
