Matthew Bird

Matthew Bird is a Data Scientist IV at Premera since January 2020, focusing on enhancing customer experience through innovative digital solutions and advanced BERT-based models. Prior to this role, Matthew was a Data Scientist Consultant at Microsoft, where automated machine learning techniques were developed. Experience also includes contributions to Azure Cognitive Services and machine learning algorithm development for Boeing at HCL America, as well as earlier roles in data science and engineering within various organizations such as Globatom and Finisar Corporation. Matthew holds a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
