Sayid Omar Ali Abubakar

Sayid Omar Ali Abubakar has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as the Acting Head of Internal Audit at Premier Bank since April 2019 after progressing through roles in the Internal Audit and Operations Departments since October 2014. Responsibilities include developing risk-based internal audit plans and managing all operational aspects of the bank, such as customer service and human resources. Prior to Premier Bank, Sayid held the position of Finance Manager at Harsan General Trading Company, overseeing financial operations and enhancing reporting processes. Sayid's educational background includes a Master's degree in Business Administration from Asia e University, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Mogadishu University, and professional certifications in Internal Auditing and Islamic Banking.
