Rachel Binford's work experience begins in 2006 at Arlington Children's Center, where they worked as a Teacher until 2009. In 2008, they also worked as an Intern at the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness. From 2009 to 2019, Rachel worked at Jumpstart, starting as a National Program VISTA and progressing through various roles such as Site Manager, Midwest Regional Operations Manager, and Associate Program Director. Their final role at Jumpstart was Director of Business Development from July 2018 to August 2019. Currently, Rachel is the Director of Business Development at Premier Early Childhood Education Partners, where they started in November 2019.

Rachel Binford earned a Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organizations Certificate from Northwestern University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Educational Studies from Trinity College-Hartford in 2009. Rachel completed their secondary education at Beaver Country Day School from 1998 to 2005.
