Chris Horton

Chris Horton has a diverse work experience in the food industry. Chris started their career as an NPD Technologist at S&A Foods in 2000 and worked there until 2002. Chris then joined RHM Foods as an Application Technologist from 2004 to 2007. After that, Chris worked at Premier Foods, where they held various roles. Chris started as a Development Manager in 2007 and later became a Technical Account Manager from 2013 to 2014. Chris then moved on to lead the cake teams as a Senior NPD Manager from 2014 to 2015. Following this, they became the Senior NPD Manager for Light Meals at Premier Foods from 2015 until their most recent position as the Head of Creative Solutions in the R&D department, which they undertook in November 2020. Throughout their career, Chris has been responsible for managing and developing teams and ensuring the delivery of projects within set timelines and objectives.

Chris Horton attended Little Lever High School from 1988 to 1992. Chris then pursued a BSC hons degree in Food Science from the University of Leeds, graduating in 1997.
