Simon Rose

Simon Rose has over fifteen years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on corporate law. Simon currently serves as the General Counsel and Company Secretary for Premier Foods. Prior to their current position, Rose was the Head of Corporate Legal Affairs and Group Property for pladis Global. In this role, they were responsible for the international legal matters, intellectual property, real estate, and facilities management for a global branded biscuits, confectionery and snacks business. This business included well-known brands such as McVitie's, Jacob's, Carr's, Penguin, Jaffa Cakes, Mini Cheddars, Twiglets, go ahead!, BN, Sultana, Verkade, Ülker, Godiva and Turtle. Before its acquisition by Yildiz Group in 2014 and amalgamation into pladis, United Biscuits was a FTSE 100 Company. Through the creation of pladis, United Biscuits became part of the third largest biscuits/snacks producer in the world.

Rose has expertise in cost reduction, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, commercial contracts, outsourcing, crisis management, litigation, intellectual property, competition, employment law, real estate, facilities management, and business development. Simon has played a key role in several major projects throughout their career, including the creation of pladis Global.
