Steve Jones, M.D., FAARM has an extensive education history. Steve earned a B.A. in Chemistry and Psychology from Hendrix College between 1975 and 1979. Following this, they attended the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Medicine from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained their MD degree. Subsequently, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center from 1983 to 1986. Jones then pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 1986 to 1988. Steve is also certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine since 2011, and by the American Board of Obesity Medicine since 2015. Currently, they are involved in private practice specializing in Gastroenterology, Digestive Diseases & Nutrition, and offers the Orbera Intragastric Balloon for Weight Loss.
