Elisabeth Karna

Elisabeth Karna has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Elisabeth started their career as an RN at Richmond Pain Management in August 2016 and worked there until October 2017. In March 2017, they joined AFHC as the Director of Nursing and served in that role until February 2019. In December 2018, they transitioned to Premier Health as the Director of Clinical Operations, where they are currently employed. Additionally, they worked as the Director of Patient Safety at St. John's Episcopal Hospital from March 2020 to October 2021.

Elisabeth Karna began their education in 2014 at St. Paul's School of Nursing where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Elisabeth completed their studies there in 2016. Following that, they attended Pace University Leinhard School of Nursing from 2016 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing. In terms of additional certifications, Elisabeth obtained their Registered Professional Nurse certification from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) in July 2016. Elisabeth later achieved various certifications in different healthcare fields, including Nurse Executive (NE-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center in July 2020, Certified Profession in Patient Safety from the IHI in June 2020, and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) also in June 2020.
