Mark Collier, FNP-BC has a diverse work experience in various healthcare settings. Mark started their career at Ochsner Health System as a Hospitalist and Gerontology Healthcare Provider from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they worked at ExxonMobil as an Occupational Healthcare On-Site Manager from 2010 to 2011. Mark then served as a Deployment Health Provider in the United States Air Force from March 2011 to August 2011.
In 2011, Mark joined Alaska Weight Loss Institute as a Family Nurse Practitioner until June 2012. Mark also worked at Beacon Occupational Health and Safety Services as a Remote Medicine Healthcare Provider focusing on Shell Oil Exploration in the Arctic Ocean in 2012. From 2013 onwards, Mark worked at Prime Occupational Medicine as a Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in occupational care, performing a wide range of exams for various industries.
In 2016, Mark joined Schumacher Clinical Partners as an Emergency Room- Healthcare Provider until October 2017. Their most recent position is with Premier Health, where they serve as an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner since February 2019. Mark's experience includes providing care in urgent care, occupational health, remote medicine, hospitalist, and deployment health settings.
Mark Collier, FNP-BC, obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from William Carey University from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Arts (AA) in Medicine at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from 1993 to 1995. Moving forward, Mark pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in the Family Nurse Practitioner Tract at the University of Mobile from 1997 to 1999. In December 1999, they also obtained their Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Additionally, Mark Collier has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In June 2010, they obtained the Transportation Worker Identification Credential from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Following that, in February 2014, they obtained certification from the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which was awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
