Sumner Franklin

Sumner Franklin currently serves as the Director of Partnership Marketing at Premier Lacrosse League since April 2023 and is also an Alumni Advisor for the Kentucky Sports Industry Conference, contributing to the development of future sports industry professionals. Prior experience includes various roles at Wasserman from September 2017 to April 2023, where responsibilities spanned from Manager to Associate Director in Golf, supporting major PGA TOUR events. Sumner's background includes a Sales and Marketing Coordinator position at PGA TOUR, and participation in the competitive Manhattan Sports Business Academy program. Additionally, earlier experiences involve internships in marketing at University of Kentucky Athletics, Mobile Telemedical, and The Coca-Cola Company. Sumner holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from the University of Kentucky, along with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Centre College.
