James Edgerley

James Edgerley is a seasoned sports development professional with extensive experience in managing and leading sports initiatives. Currently serving as the Sports Development Manager at Barnet and Southgate College since February 2012, James oversees the strategic and operational aspects of the sports department, including elite sports academy programs and community outreach. Additionally, as a Lead Event Consultant & Club Assurance for The Premier League since October 2014, James leads competitions and development initiatives for clubs while providing support during critical project phases. Previous roles include Sports Development Consultant, Manager, Teacher, and Coach, as well as Partnerships & Development Manager at Gosling Sports Park. Academic credentials include a BSc (Hons) in Sport Science from Brunel University and an HND in Coach Education & Sports Development from the University of Bath.
