Katherine Allen has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Deputy Field Organiser in the Barack Obama 2008 Presidential Campaign in 2008. Katherine then worked as Campaign Staff at NARAL Pro-Choice America in 2009. In 2011, they joined BBC News as an Assistant Producer until 2014. Katherine then served as a Press Officer at the UK Home Office from 2014 to 2015. Katherine continued their career at 10 Downing Street, starting as a Senior Press Officer, Foreign Affairs from 2015 to 2016, and later became the Head of News Desk from 2016 to 2017. Since 2017, they have been working at The Premier League, where they held the role of Head of Policy and Supporter Relations until 2022. Currently, they are the Director of Policy and Corporate Purpose.

Katherine Allen completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011 at SOAS University of London. Katherine then went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism at City, University of London, which they completed in 2012.
