Christian Hietanen, DO, MS MEd, CHSE, is an experienced medical educator and pediatrician currently serving as the Course Director for Early Clinical Experience and Physical Diagnosis at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition to directing these courses, Christian is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics within the Department of Primary Care, actively teaching the pediatric curriculum to first and second-year medical students. Christian also holds the position of Clerkship Director for pediatrics at Garnet Health Medical Center and practices as a general pediatrician at Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley. Christian earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Medical Education from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Canisius University.
