Emily Shewmaker is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in wealth management and operations. Currently serving as Director of Operations at Premier Planning Group, Inc. since December 2021, Emily previously held the position of Portfolio Manager Assistant at Johnson Investment Counsel from April 2004 to December 2021, contributing to the firm's growth as one of Ohio's largest independent wealth management firms. Earlier roles include Financial Planner Assistant/Tax Professional at The Advisory Team and Paraplanner at Foster and Motley, Inc., as well as experience in state and local tax with Arthur Andersen & Co. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Administration from Thomas More University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
