Head Coach at Premier Rugby Sevens

Troy Hall has extensive experience in the field of rugby coaching and high performance. Troy currently serves as the Head Coach at Clemson University, where they started in April 2020. In addition, they hold the position of Head Coach at Premier Rugby Sevens since February 2023. Prior to these roles, Troy worked as the Director of High Performance at The Athlete Collective from July 2020 onward.

Before joining the collegiate level, Troy served as the Head Coach at Oregon State University from September 2017 to January 2020. Troy also held the position of Director of Youth Development & High Performance at Rugby Oregon from April 2012 to October 2017, where they played a pivotal role in developing youth rugby.

Troy's experience in rugby extends beyond coaching, as they were an Athlete - Rugby Player for USA Rugby from November 2007 to June 2015. Additionally, they served as a Rugby Coach at the United States Military Academy at West Point from August 2011 to August 2012 and as a Youth Development Mentor / Coach at Play Rugby USA from January 2010 to November 2011.

Troy Hall attended Adventure Education in Bay of Plenty, New Zealand in 2003, where they focused on Adventure/Extreme Sports Leadership & Training. Before that, from 2000 to 2001, they studied Sports and Exercise at Waikato Polytechnic in Hamilton, New Zealand. Prior to their tertiary education, Troy completed their secondary education at Thames High School in New Zealand between 1995 and 1999.
