Jon Adams

Jon Adams has a diverse range of experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Jon started their career as a Logistics Coordinator at R2 Logistics in 2011, where they built relationships with carriers and identified opportunities for growth. Jon then moved on to become a National Sales Representative, responsible for generating over $50MM in new sales through prospecting and networking. Jon also created sales forecasts and reports. In 2014, Jon became the Director of National Sales at R2 Logistics, where they successfully launched a new sales office in Dallas and optimized sales performance through data analysis and talent development. In 2017, they were promoted to Vice President LTL Solutions, leading a strong team and achieving a 15% reduction in transportation spend for managed transportation customers. After leaving R2 Logistics in 2019, Jon joined Hazen Transfer as the Director of National Sales, where they recruited and trained a new sales team and generated new customers through various methods. In 2020, they joined Quality Freight Logistics as the Director of Business Development, where they increased monthly margin by $300k in six months and converted unprofitable business to profitable through negotiations and new business generation. Currently, Jon serves as the Director of Sales at Premier Safety, starting in 2023.

Jon Adams attended Bishop Foley Catholic High School from 1998 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in General Studies. Following their time at high school, they enrolled at Oakland University from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree. During their studies at Oakland University, Jon focused on Integrative Studies, Business, and Communications.
