Following this, they completed a Family Medicine Residency Program at Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency from 2017 to 2020, obtaining a board certification in Family Medicine.

In 2020, Trenton enrolled at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, specializing in Sports Medicine. Here, they pursued a Sports Medicine Fellowship and successfully obtained a Sports Medicine CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification) in 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Trenton has also attained various certifications to enhance their medical skills. Trenton obtained the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association in June 2017. In August 2016, they acquired the ACLS certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. Moreover, Trenton obtained the BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the same institutions in August 2013.
