Trenton Schmale

Trenton Schmale has a strong background in sports medicine and family medicine. Trenton'smost recent position is State Medical Director at Premier Sports Medicine, LLC starting in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the District 9 President at the Indiana State Medical Association in 2022. Trenton also worked as a Board Member at Benjamin Rush Institute in 2022. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Family and Sports Medicine Physician at Riverview Health. Before that, they were a Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2020 to 2021. In 2019, they served as a Physician at Independent Disability Examiners & Associates. Trenton gained experience as a Family Medicine Resident at Ball Memorial Hospital from 2017 to 2020. Trenton also had various roles at the Indiana State Medical Association and Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine during their educational years.

Trenton Schmale has a strong educational background in the field of medicine. Trenton started their education journey at Taylor University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from 2007 to 2011. Trenton then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University, completing this degree in 2012.

Continuing their education, Trenton attended Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Doctor of Osteopathy. Following this, they completed a Family Medicine Residency Program at Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency from 2017 to 2020, obtaining a board certification in Family Medicine.

In 2020, Trenton enrolled at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, specializing in Sports Medicine. Here, they pursued a Sports Medicine Fellowship and successfully obtained a Sports Medicine CAQ (Certificate of Added Qualification) in 2021.

In addition to their academic achievements, Trenton has also attained various certifications to enhance their medical skills. Trenton obtained the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association in June 2017. In August 2016, they acquired the ACLS certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association. Moreover, Trenton obtained the BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the same institutions in August 2013.
