Jim Tarwater

Jim Tarwater has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jim has held various leadership positions in different companies, primarily in the healthcare industry.

In 1996, Jim Tarwater worked as the Vice President of Operations at Health Care Source, where they were responsible for implementing enterprise software and managing warehouse, customer service, and purchasing departments.

Jim then moved on to Renal Care Group in 1998, where they served as the Assistant Vice President of Information Services. Jim'srole involved overseeing the implementation and ongoing support of systems impacting patient care.

In 2005, Tarwater joined Renal Advantage Inc. as the Vice President of Information Services, where they played a crucial role in shaping the company's culture and driving growth initiatives. Jim led the implementation and enhancement of enterprise software and developed strategic plans for information services. Additionally, they held the roles of Vice President of Integration Management and Vice President of Information Technology during their tenure at Renal Advantage Inc.

In 2012, Tarwater joined Fresenius Medical Care as the Vice President of Information Technology, where they had responsibilities over the former RAI IS environment and managed staffing, key systems, and support transitions.

Tarwater's work experience also includes roles as the Sole Proprietor of TarH2O Consulting, where they provided contract consulting and project management services in the field of Information Technology. Jim has also served as the VP of Technology/Client CIO at W Squared, leading the company's outsourced solutions in technology, healthcare information, finance, and human resources.

Jim'smost recent position was at Premise Health, where they held the role of VP of Business Technology Partnerships. Jim spearheaded and directed the department, implementing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Additionally, Tarwater had their own business, Shoebird Collectibles, where they specialized in valuation, authentication, and consignment of collectibles for almost 15 years.

Jim Tarwater earned a B.S. in Systems Science / Business from the University of West Florida from 1982 to 1986. Jim then pursued an MBA in Business from Millsaps College from 1993 to 1994.
