Rocky Assad has a strong background in software development, with experience in various roles and industries. Rocky started their career as a Web Developer at AdmissionPros, LLC where they led the development of student registration applications for universities such as Duke University and NC State University. Rocky then moved on to TradeWeb, Inc as a Software Developer, leading a team in converting a PHP application to a .NET e-commerce application. Rocky then worked at the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry as a Senior Developer, managing a small development team and serving as a Salesforce Administrator. Following this, they joined Mighty Games as a Nodejs Developer, working on developing the backend API for game state management and new features. Most recently, Rocky has been working at Premise Health as a Lead/Sr. Developer, responsible for building and maintaining microservices in Node.js and participating in architectural decisions.

Rocky Assad obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from ITT Technical Institute, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Astronaut High School. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rocky Assad holds certifications as a Salesforce.com Certified Administrator and Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer, which they obtained in November 2012 from Salesforce.
