Steven Cardwell

Steven Cardwell has a diverse work experience in the field of employee benefits, wellbeing, and retirement programs. Steven started their career as the Director of Employee Benefits at Roop Financial Services, Inc. in July 2004. After three years, they joined Regions Bank and served as both an Employee Benefits Broker Consultant and the Director of Account Management from July 2007 to January 2012. Steven then worked as the Director of Employee Benefits & Wellness at Fred's Inc. from January 2012 to October 2013. Following that, they joined ACH Food Companies, Inc. as the Manager of Employee Benefits, Wellness & Retirement Programs from October 2013 to November 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Benefits, Wellbeing & Retirement Programs at Premise Health, where they previously served as the AVP of Benefits, Wellbeing & Retirement Programs from January 2019. Throughout their career, Steven has been responsible for strategic development, implementation, and administration of various employee benefits programs, including leaves, disability, retirement, and workers' compensation. Steven has also been involved in M&A due diligence and employee health and safety.

Steven Cardwell completed their education with a degree in Finance from The University of Memphis in 2003. Steven also attended Collierville High School from 1995 to 1999. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Chartered Healthcare Consultant (ChHC) certification from the National Association of Health Underwriters in 2020. Steven Cardwell also holds certifications in Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (2012), Group Benefits Disability Specialist (2010), Registered Health Underwriter (2008), and is a WELCOA Faculty member (2014). Steven also obtained a TN Accident / Health Producer License.
