Gregory Watson has a diverse work experience. Gregory began their career in 2004 as an Information Technology Analyst at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport. In 2007, they moved to Emory University as a Research Assistant. In 2009, they took on the role of Teaching Assistant at UCLA Department of Molecular, Cell and Developmental Biology. In 2011, they joined UCLA Center for Health Policy Research as a Graduate Student Researcher and Research Analyst. In 2022, they became a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Prenosis.

Gregory Watson attended the University of Notre Dame from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Mathematics. Gregory then attended Emory University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master's Degree in Theology/Theological Studies. Gregory then returned to the University of California, Los Angeles from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Science in Biostatistics. Finally, they attended the University of California, Los Angeles from 2013 to 2021, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics.
