In 2017, they worked as a Sales Assistant at O'Briens Wines and as a Crew Lead at RC Special Events. In 2018, they worked as a Shop Assistant at Johnstown Garden Centre. In 2019, they were a Financial Consultant at Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd. and a Sales Assistant at O'Briens Wines. In 2021, they worked as a Carpenter at Heatherbrea. Currently, they are a Team Lead, Senior Sales Specialist, and Inside Sales Specialist at Prenuvo.

Diarmaid Smyth obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University from 2016 to 2019 and a Bachelor's Degree in Global Business/ French language from Dublin City University from 2014 to 2016.
