Shaan Patel MD MBA

Shaan Patel MD MBA has been a Board-Certified Dermatologist for DermatologistOnCall since 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO & Founder of Prep Expert, an online education company, from 2010. At Prep Expert, they helped over 100,000 students improve their test scores, receive admission into top universities, and win over $100 million in college scholarships. As Seen On Shark Tank, Prep Expert offers online SAT & ACT courses, K-12 academic tutoring, and college admissions consulting.

Shaan Patel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biology from the University of Southern California in 2011. Shaan then attended the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California, graduating with an MD in 2017. During their medical studies, Patel concurrently attended the Yale School of Management, graduating with an MBA in Health Care & Entrepreneurship in 2016.
