Kristin Sherman

Kristin Sherman is a dedicated school psychologist with extensive experience in both educational and clinical settings. Currently serving as a per-diem school psychologist for the Northport-East Northport School District since March 2016, Kristin specializes in district-wide testing for students in grades K-12, primarily focusing on special education students. Additionally, Kristin has been an IQ tester for Prep for Prep since 2012, assessing children ages 10 to 15 for academic placement. Previous roles include serving as a per-diem school psychologist in various school districts, where Kristin conducted cognitive and achievement testing to inform student placements. Kristin's background in psychometrics includes work with individuals with severe medical and developmental disabilities, further showcasing a strong foundation in both assessment and counseling. Kristin holds a Master of Science in School Psychology from St. John's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Joseph's University New York.
