Kyle Johnson

Kyle Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kyle is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at Prep Sportswear since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked at QuoteWizard starting in 2016, holding various roles including Director of Engineering, Software Development Manager, and Software Engineering Team Lead. During their time at QuoteWizard, they led a team of engineers, initiated the migration from SVN to Visual Studio Team Services, migrated applications to cloud services, and spearheaded a project to break up a monolithic application. Kyle also implemented processes such as standups, code reviews, and pull requests. Additionally, they modernized internal CRM using a new API and modern frameworks.

Earlier in their career, Kyle Johnson worked at Prep Sportswear as a Lead Software Engineer from 2012 to 2016, focusing on web development for an e-commerce retailer. Kyle also had a brief stint at Microsoft in 2011 as a Senior Programmer and at Groundspeak as a Front End ASP.NET Web Developer. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Web Developer at Seattle Children's Hospital from 2008 to 2011.

In 2006, they worked at The Nebraska Medical Center as a Web Site Coordinator, where they were responsible for various tasks including web development, creation and implementation of site structures and policies, and managing relationships with executives and vendors. Kyle started their career as a Web Designer at American Broadband - Nebraska from 2002 to 2006 and as a PC Technician at Iowa Western Community College from 2000 to 2002.

Kyle Johnson attended Iowa Western Community College from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Microcomputer Support.
