Chas Wurster

Chas Wurster is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at PrePass since February 2024, Chas oversees innovative solutions for weigh station bypass and toll payment systems. As an advisor at both Gimbal and Occuspace since February 2019, Chas provides strategic and technical guidance in location data and IoT solutions. Previously, Chas held the Chief Technology Officer position at Platform Science, where efforts focused on developing next-generation IoT infrastructure for the transportation sector, and at ParTech, Inc., leading software and hardware solutions for the restaurant industry. Chas also has a background with Qualcomm, Tapioca Mobile, Nokia, and Intellisync Corporation, holding various engineering and leadership roles. Chas earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College.
