Hemisha Desai

Hemisha Desai has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Hemisha is currently employed at Preqin as the Lead Software Engineer, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as AVP, Information Architecture from April 2020 to October 2021. Hemisha was also a Technical Lead at Preqin from January 2020 to April 2020 and a Team Lead/ Lead Developer from March 2017 to January 2020. Hemisha started their career at Preqin as a Systems Developer from August 2015 to February 2017.

Before joining Preqin, Hemisha worked at OrderWork Ltd and Empowered SMS Ltd as a Senior Software Developer from February 2013 to March 2015. Hemisha'sresponsibilities included project development and deployment, building SSIS packages for reporting, file transfer projects, and source code management. Hemisha also worked on web services, database management, and IT support.

Hemisha's earlier experience includes working at Auravita Ltd as an ASP.NET Developer from June 2007 to February 2013. Hemisha began their career as a Professor at M.B.patel Science College in Gujarat, India from June 2006 to February 2007.

Hemisha Desai completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Application (BCA) from VP & RPTP Science College, Vallabh Vidyanagar from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Masters degree in Computer Application (MCA) with a focus on Computer Programming from G. H. Patel P. G. Department of Computer Science and Technology from 2004 to 2006.
