Tuc Van Nguyen

Tuc Van Nguyen has a strong background in artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, with a focus on medical applications. In 2019, they joined Life Whisperer as a Senior AI & Deep Learning Specialist, working to improve outcomes for couples undergoing IVF by using AI to select embryos. Tuc Van then moved to Presagen as a Senior AI and Deep Learning Engineer, where they contributed to the development of the AI Open Projects platform, connecting medical data from clinics globally to create scalable and unbiased medical AI products. Tuc also has experience in computer vision, having worked as a Senior AI and Computer Vision Engineer at Vp9 & VinGroup from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at the University of Wollongong, where they used neural networks and models such as SVM and DNN to classify content-based webpages and track objects in videos. Tuc started their career as a Software Engineer at ITI in 2003.

Tuc Van Nguyen pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. Tuc Van obtained a Phd and Master's degree from the University of Wollongong, where they studied from 2010 to 2016. Additionally, Tuc also obtained a PhD degree with an outstanding thesis in 2011 from the University of Wollongong. Tuc Van also completed a Master degree on Intelligent Systems with high distinction in 2010 from Wollongong University. Prior to these achievements, Tuc had earned a Bachelor Degree with distinction in 1998 from Le Qui Don University in Hanoi, Vietnam.
