Lauren Elise Barnes

Lauren Elise Barnes is an experienced program manager currently at HumanKind since January 2019 and serves as the founder and CEO of Feminine Flourishing since September 2020, where initiatives focus on empowering women through courses on sex, leadership, and play. With a decade of experience in maternal health, Lauren established Feminine Flourishing to address the need for embodied education for womxn. Previously, Lauren held the position of Executive Director at The Motherhood Collective from July 2012 to January 2019, where efforts centered on equipping, educating, and empowering women through comprehensive programming from preconception to postpartum. Earlier in career, Lauren worked as an Executive Assistant at Cornerstone Capital Management from September 2000 to August 2007, focusing on administrative tasks, scheduling, and portfolio management.
