William Malpass has over two decades of experience in communications and public relations, currently serving as Communications Manager at Presbyterian Support Northern since January 2021 and as an Independent Communications and PR Consultant since January 2020. Prior to these roles, William was the Corporate Communications Manager at Bayer New Zealand Ltd from February 2004 to January 2020, where responsibilities included implementing communication programs to enhance public and employee understanding of Bayer's objectives. William also worked as the Orion Programme Communicator for the Waitemata District Health Board from January 2000 to December 2003. William holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Auckland, earned between 1980 and 1984.

As a large charitable service provider and faith-based organisation with a proud 135-year heritage, we have a strong sense of social mission, and facilitate innovative, community-level initiatives at the grassroots. We also provide social enterprise services, including Lifeline Connect and Shine Family Violence Education Services, that provide external training and consultancy to corporate and community organisations.
