Cody Greco

Cody Greco has worked in a variety of roles in the technology and data science fields since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Data Scientist at PETCO Animal Supplies, Inc., where they mainly used R and SQL to build ecommerce forecasts and recommendation systems. In 2014, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at IAC, Daily Burn. In 2015, they worked as a Manager of Data and Insights at Bauer Xcel Media, where they used Scala, MapReduce, Redis, EMR, and Python to build an enterprise-scale data analytics platform. Cody was then promoted to Director of Data and Insights, where they and their team built and deployed recommendation systems and near real time customer segmentation solutions. In 2017, they joined Grubhub as a Director of Data Science and Team Lead, Research Science. At Grubhub, they led a team of over 20 data scientists and machine learning engineers to research, build, deploy, and scale production data science solutions. In 2019, they joined Choosy as Chief Technology Officer and successfully exited in April 2020. Finally, in 2020, they joined Prescient as Chief Technology Officer, combining their love for working with smart humans and building them technology that saves them time and money. Cody is currently working on human computer interaction, causal analysis, Bayesian networks, time series modeling at scale, etc.

Cody Greco holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from UC San Diego.
